Two years ago, Gerlind was able to establish contact with virology in Marburg, as there were many connections to her core subject of tropical medicine, but also to Israel and Uganda. Now Gerlind and Samuel were given the opportunity to get to know the institute for two days. They even carried out a PCR test on inactivated samples themselves and learned something new. Thank you very much for this great opportunity.
Samuel, who is part of an emergency response team, received an alarm during this time. There had been an outbreak of the Marburg virus in Rwanda. The suspected case in Hamburg at the same time was all over the media. Good cooperation is preparing us. There are certainly prospects in the medical field for our students at Philadelphia Secondary School. Thank you for all the joy our school brings!
